The Kingdom of God vs The Kingdom of Satan

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.-Mark 1:1

Jesus came to Galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,  saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.

Repent and believe the gospel.”- Mark 1:14-15

The Gospel

The Bible tells us that there is a kingdom of this world and that, Satan- the devil, is the ruler of it. And that Satan “the ruler” and “the god” of “this world” is the source of all sin and that, it is Satan, the devil, whom many are choosing to follow and to be their “god.”(Luke 4:5-7; John 12:31/16:11; 2 Cor. 4:4;Heb. 2:14;Eph. 6:11-12)

Everything wrong in our world is because of sin. If there were no sin there would be nothing wrong. If there were no sin, everything would be very good. Everything created in the heavens, everything created on the earth would be very good, as Jehovah/YWHW(Ex.6:2-3) the only true and living God intended it to be when He first created all things through Jesus Christ His Son and by His Holy Spirit. (Gen. Ch.1-3;1John 5:7; Gen.1:26;Isa.42:5-6/45:1,12,18; John 1:1-4; Col.1;15-20; Heb.1;1-14;Ps. 104:30 )

But because of sin, everything is very bad, from – Ungodly, immoral and unjust secular world governments to world wars, terrorism, mass murders, serial killings, suicides, all illnesses to all broken relationships, all divorce and every act of spousal abuse and neglect both physically and emotionally, all home domestic violence, all orphaned children, all drunkenness, all addiction to drugs, all acts of violence and crime, and gangs, all confusion, all conflict, all struggle, all disappointment, all anxiety, all fear, all guilt, all depression, all sorrow, all failure, all remorse as well as all lust and selfish-ness and pride and hatred and anger and covetousness and rebellion and murder and lying and  stealing and cursing and all sexual acts outside of marriage, to all acts of sexual immorality, homosexuality, pornography, prostitution, sex trafficking, abortion and every act of irresponsibility and disobedience to parents and above all to God by misusing His Name and the Name of  Jesus Christ, His Son in a blasphemous manner is – Sin. (Isa. 24:5-6; Ex. 20:3-17; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:3-6; 2 Tim. 3:1-5) In summary, all evil, all sadness, all failure, all death and rebellion to God, is because of Sin.

The Bible says that Sin is the breaking of Gods Laws,(Ex. 20:3-17) that it is our sins that separate us from God and that God hates our sins, and those who choose to continue to live in Sin. (1 John 3:4; Isa. 59:2; Ps. 5:5, 7:11) The Bible also tells us that the problem with this world is due to: SIN! And that we are all sinners, and that sin is an inherent part of who we are.  That we are not sinners because we sin; we sin because we are sinners. It’s in our nature to sin, we are born in sin and so sinning comes to us naturally. So contrary to what many believe that we are good people. The Bible says, “There is no one who does good, no, not one.”(Rom.3:9-18,23/1:18-31/2:14-15; Isa. 24:5-6; Ps. 51:5; Eph. 2:1-3; Gen. 6:5/8:21; Ps.58:3; 1John 3:7-10)

The Bible tells us that, because of sin, we are all going to die. (Ecc. 9:5; Heb. 9:27) We don’t know when? We don’t know how? We don’t know where or how it’s going to happen. We are not in control of that, and only God knows that day. (Job 1:21, 14:5, Ps. 139:16; Ecc.3:1-2: 1 Sam. 2:6; Deut. 32:39)

The Bible says, “That our lives are like the morning fog. It’s here a little while and then it’s gone.”(James 4;14) But, the bible does tell us why we die, and the reason that we die according to what the Bible tells us is, because of our sins. (Rom. 6:23;5:12; Gen. 2:15-17- 3:1-19; John 3:19-20; 8:24) The bible tells us that when sin entered the world, that it is sin that brought in death. And so “death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.” (Rom. 5:12)

So the Bible tells us that because of sin, the earth and those who live in it, are cursed (Isa.24:5-6) and that one day Almighty God will restore the kingdom that was lost when Adam and Eve disobeyed God(Gen.2:16-17/Ch.3;Rom.5:12,18-19) and that one day Jesus Christ will return to destroy this earth and that He is going to cast the devil into the Lake of Fire for eternity and all those who choose to continue to follow Satan and disobey God’s commandments and not believe upon Jesus as their only means for salvation will also join Satan in the Lake of Fire or Hell for Eternity.(2 Thess.1:7-9; 2Pet. 3:7;Jude 1:14-15; Matt.25:41; Rev.20:10,12-15/21;8)

But the godly, those who choose by faith to repent of their sins towards God and believe upon the Name of Jesus, will inherit the Kingdom of God. The Bible says that they will live forever with God and Christ in His Kingdom. (Rev.20:4-6;2 Pet. 3:13)

It will be a Kingdom where Jesus Christ will rule with perfect justice and love. It will be a new earth and heaven where there will be no more pain, suffering, violence, sickness or sin, a perfect, paradise, where only the godly will live with God forever.

But, the Bible makes it very clear that: “You can be sure that no immoral, impure or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God.” (Eph. 4:28-32/5:3-5/ Gal. 5:19-21) “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” (Matt. 7:13-14)

“Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey Him. Don’t participate in the things these people do.” (Eph. 5:6-7)  “Not everyone who calls out to me, “Lord, Lord!” will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name. But I will say, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.”(Matt. 7:21-23) “And the, “cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars – their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”(Rev. 21:8) “And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Rev. 20:15) But, “No unclean thing shall ever enter it, nor shall anyone who commits abomination or falsehood, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. (Rev. 21:27)

That’s the bad news. We are born in Sin, children under God’s wrath and destined to hell!(Matt.24:51;25:30,41,46)

But there is Good News! Jesus came preaching, “The gospel of the Kingdom of God, saying, “The time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand, Repent and believe the Gospel.”- Mark 1:14-15. So the Gospel or Good News is: That the Bible tells us that even though this world is filled with every type of filthy sin that should send us straight into hellAlmighty God, by His Grace, is offering you the free gift of eternal life and an invitation into His Kingdom and the opportunity to become His child.

So “Today, choose whom you will serve”-Yahweh, the Only True God and Father of The Lord Jesus Christ or Satan the “god” of this world? Today, says the Lord our God, “I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh! That you would choose life.”(Deut. 30:19)

Listen to me! The most important choice you will ever make in your life is to choose to repent of whatever sins Satan, “the god” of this world has you in bondage to and turn to God and believe the Good News about the Kingdom that God offers you in the person of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel is about Christ! The Gospel is God’s Good News about what God has done in Christ, at the cross, for your sins. It’s about the fact that, according to the scriptures, God punished and killed His only begotten Son, and that He poured out His wrath upon Christ for our sins that was justly deserved by every human being. But, it was poured out on His Son as a substitute for those who would believe in His Son.

The Gospel is about the Cross, and the Cross is not a tool to show us how much we are worth. But rather, the cross shows us how significant and weighty our sin is. The cross is a reminder of how Holy God is.

The cross is a reminder that God demands payment for our sins. The cross is a reminder that we may not approach God with our sinful filthy life, and our sinful filthy hands, and that there must be payment for our sins.

God’s righteousness has to be satisfied. Justice has to be served and you are not worthy, I am not worthy, as a matter of fact, none of us are worthy. Christ alone was worthy. And at the cross, He suffered and died, because someone had to die.

Justice had to be satisfied. And to demonstrate love, God had to put away sin first. And there was only one way to do it, the death of the only begotten Son of God. He died. But, He rose again on the third day, because death had no right to hold Him.

That’s what God’s Good News is all about. The Gospel is about God’s grace. It’s about God giving you what you don’t deserve, but because our God is a God of mercy and compassion, that is why He does not give us what we do deserve, and that is, everlasting punishment in Hell for our sins.

We don’t deserve God’s love, His grace, His mercy or His forgiveness. But because our God is Love, that is why He freely offers us the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, His Son.

It’s only because of His grace. You can’t work for it; you can’t earn it, or even pay for it. It’s only by God’s grace that God offers it.

And because God is Love, the Bible says that, “God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only begotten Son. So that anyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.” And that’s the choice, that God is offering you today, “Eternal Life” over “Eternal damnation in Hell”.

The choice is yours. The bible says, “Today is the day of salvation. Today when you hear His voice don’t harden your hearts. The LORD our God says, “Today, I have given you the choice between life and death. Today, “Choose whom you will serve.”

That’s the Gospel. That God loves us so much that He reached passed our sin and rebellion and provided a way in His Son – Jesus Christ. Who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, so that, if you turn from your sins and embrace Jesus Christ by faith, you can be forgiven.

You can be saved! That’s Good News! That you can have your sins forgiven and washed away by a Holy God by placing your faith in Jesus Christ. Who took the punishment for your sins upon Himself.  That’s the Good News of the Gospel!

And so if you’re asking yourself,” What must I do to be saved?” Jesus answered…, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

The Bible tells us that when, Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”(Acts 2:37-38; Matt.3:16-17; 1John 5:7)

So the Bible says that we are naturally born in sin and so we cannot enter The Kingdom of God in sin or in corruption we must be made clean, and that is something that only God can do. (Jon.2:9; Ps.3:8; Ezek.36:25-27; Zech. 3:1-4)

So, to be born again and become a child of God in His Kingdom and receive His forgiveness, God is commanding you to:

Repent of your sins towards God – God commands everyone to repent of their sins. Repentance is an understanding that you have lived a life of disobedience towards God’s Holy commandments. You have lived in sin and that now you desire to turn from a life of unbelief and evil to total obedience to God. (Mark 1:15; Acts 2:38/3:18-19/17:30/20:21; Ps.51; 2 Cor.7:9-11; Prov. 28:13;2 Pet. 3:9;Luke 15:7/13:5)

Believe upon the Name of Jesus – God commands everyone to believe in His Son Jesus Christ. To believe means that you understand that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was never created, but is God who became flesh in order to die for your sins and that it is to Him, whom you must obey, submit and surrender your life to as King. Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.” (John 1:1/6:28-29/8:24/10:33; Col. 1:15-20;Heb. 1:1-14;Acts 2:36/4:12/16:31; Heb. 5:9/1John 3:23/5:1,9-12,20; John 3:16-20,35-36/6:28-29/20:31;Rom. 3:23-26/10:9)

Be Baptized– God commands those who profess faith in Jesus to be baptized. It is in the waters of Baptism where you publicly profess your faith in Christ by following Him into His death and resurrection. In Baptism, you are dying to your sins forsaking your former life and rising with Christ to become a new creation in Christ.(Matt. 3:15-17/28:19-20; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:36-38,41/8:12/8:36-38/10:48/22:16; 1 Peter 3:21;Rom. 6:3-4;Gal.3:26-27; Col 2:20/3:1)

Receive the Holy Spirit– The Holy Spirit is the agent of God who baptizes all believers into the body of Christ. He is the spirit of God whom God gives to those who obey. He is a believer’s counsellor and guide. He instructs and teaches all true believers and is given by God as an assurance and guarantee that a believer belongs to God. The Holy Spirit also gives us the gifts, power and ability to fight against Satan and the lusts of this world. (John 3;6-8;Acts 5:32/1:8/2:38; 1 Cor. 6;19/12:8-10;Eph. 4:7-13;John 14:6/15:16-17; Gal.5:22-23;Luke 24:45-47)

“Yes, I am sending you to the Gentiles to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me.” (Acts 26:17-18)

Jesus said, “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”- John 14:6

So, “Today, when you hear His voice, don’t harden your hearts.” (Heb. 3:7) and choose to, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” (Acts 2:40) “Indeed, the “right time”is now. Today  is the day of salvation.” (2 Cor. 6:2)

The LORD God says,“I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life..”(Deut. 30:19)

The Biblical Gospel according to Jesus does not say that Jesus came and died in order to offer you financial prosperity, your dreams, your hopes or a “Better Life Today”. Jesus is not offering you good feelings about yourself. What Jesus did say is that is that He would save you from eternal Hell. That He would give you spiritual blessings, right now and forever in His Kingdom. If, you would abandon yourself.

-Matt. 4:17 – From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

John 3:16 – For God loved the world so much that He sent His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life.

Luke 9:23-26 – Then Jesus said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be My Follower, you must turn from your Selfish Ways, take up your Cross Daily, and Follow Me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for My sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the Whole World but are yourself lost or destroyed? If anyone is ashamed of Me and My message, the Son of Man will be Ashamed of that person when He Returns in His Glory and in the Glory of the Father and the Holy Angels.”

Matt 10:38-39 – Jesus says, “If you love your Father or Mother more than you love Me, you are Not worthy of being Mine; or if you Love your Son or Daughter more than Me, you are Not Worthy of being Mine. If you refuse to Take up your Cross and Follow Me, you are Not Worthy of being Mine. If you Cling to your Life, you will Lose it; but if you give up your life for Me, you will find it.”

Matt 16:24 – Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If any of you wants to be My Follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your Cross, and Follow me.”

Luke 14:27 – Jesus says, “And if you do Not carry your own Cross and Follow Me, you cannot be My Disciple.”

Luke 14:33 – Jesus says, “So you cannot become My Disciple without giving up everything you own.”

-2 Tim.3:12 – Yes and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

-Matt. 24:13 – But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

So understand that following Jesus, it’s a war. It’s a war! It’s a battle and you have to think it through and ask yourself the question: “Am I willing to suffer?” Am I willing to fight this fight of faith against Satan, the god and the ruler of this world? The devil who is trying to take me to hell with him?

So understand that if you decide to follow Jesus and I mean not just pray a prayer and call yourself a Christian. But really mean it from your heart, if you really make a decision to follow Jesus and live for His Kingdom, because that it what Jesus did, you understand? That following Jesus means that as a child of God, you are entering into war against Satan and his Kingdom! And I mean follow, to truly follow Jesus Christ and live the way that He commands you to live and to follow His standard of morality that’s going to get more and more unpopular on this earth.

It’s going to be a war, it’s going to be a battle, it’s going to be a fight! And the question is: Do you really want to do that? Do you see Jesus Christ and His forgiveness and His eternal Kingdom something that is so valuable that you’re willing to fight this fight for the rest of your life!

You see that’s question, “Is Jesus that valuable to you?” Because if so then, YES! Go and step into the waters of Baptism and get baptized! I’m telling you right now, this isn’t a fun thing on this earth that is under Satan’s control.

There are times when it’s absolutely brutal. You are now becoming a follower and slave of Jesus Christ, a child of God and an ambassador and soldier in the Kingdom of God, which now makes you and enemy of the devil who hates God, hates Jesus and he hates you and now he will come after you in anger.

But that doesn’t matter, you’re up for the challenge because you believe and know that God is greater than the devil and that Jesus defeated the works of Satan at the cross and that God will always be with you and protect you.

You’re ready for this fight because you believe that there’s a treasure in Christ and an intimacy you can have with Him that’s worth the pain, that’s worth the fighting, that’s worth the suffering and that there’s an eternal Kingdom that He offers you that’s worth it all and that there’s an intimacy and a relationship that you can have with Jehovah God that is so great and such a great treasure that, Yes! I’ll step into the waters of Baptism and by entering into the waters you are dying to your old self. That old self with all the things that you are holding onto that you thought would bring you so much pleasure and now you realize that, that was a dead end road. But now you have found something and someone more valuable. So now you can say, “Even if I have to suffer on this earth. I’m going to go for it! Because this treasure is so great, that with great joy, I’ll go through the suffering and get this treasure!”

God Loves You!

Many people who have come to know God have struggled through oppression, depression, addictions, abuse, marriage, loneliness, persecution, gangs and much more. These individuals broke free, and you can too! Psalm 55:22 says, “Give your burdens to God, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. If we follow God and Trust Him, we cannot be shaken because He will always be with us and right beside us (Psalms 16:8). God wants to be our Father and He wants the best for us (Jeremiah 3:19). In God you will find True happiness forever.

Matthew 7:7 says, “Keep asking and you will receive”
