Non-Denominational Church in Burbank

A fellowship centered on Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, prayer, and faithful obedience to God’s Word.

Looking for a Non-Denominational Church in Burbank?

When you look for a church, the name on the building is only the beginning. You want to know what the people believe, whether the Bible will be opened and explained, and whether there is a place to grow in faith and obedience to Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of God Bible Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian fellowship in Burbank that gathers around those convictions.

Being non-denominational does not mean we are vague about what we believe. It means our fellowship is not governed by a denominational structure or required to adopt a denominational label. Our conviction is that Scripture is God’s Word and that Jesus Christ is Lord. We want the Bible itself to shape our worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship, and witness.

We welcome people who are searching for a church home, returning to church after time away, or simply wanting to hear the Gospel clearly. You do not need to arrive with every question settled. Come ready to worship the Lord, open the Scriptures, and meet a fellowship that wants to follow Christ faithfully.

What Guides Our Fellowship

Our fellowship is built around the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His coming Kingdom. We believe that the good news calls people to repent of sin, believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ, be baptized, receive the Holy Spirit, and walk in obedience to Him. The Christian life is more than hearing a message on Sunday. It is a continuing life of faith, prayer, holiness, service, and growth in God’s Word.

We do not want the Bible to be an opening thought before a message about something else. Our teaching is expository, meaning that we work carefully through the Scriptures, book by book and verse by verse. We pay attention to context, seek to understand what the passage says, and desire to apply it in a way that honors God.

Our fellowship is non-Calvinist and non-Arminianist. We seek to speak where Scripture speaks and to avoid making a theological system the master over the plain teaching of God’s Word. You can read more about our convictions in our Statement of Faith, and you are welcome to ask sincere questions as you get to know us.

Sunday Worship: Prayer, Scripture, and Communion

Sunday worship is a time for the fellowship to come before God together. We pray, worship, study the Bible, and share communion. We gather with a serious desire to honor the Lord Jesus Christ, encourage one another, and grow as disciples who obey His commands.

Every Sunday, we meet from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The gathering gives room for prayer, worship, expository teaching of God’s Word, and communion. We are not trying to create a polished performance. We are seeking a Christ-centered time in which people can hear the Scriptures, worship the Lord, and be strengthened for faithful living.

Whether you have a long church background or are stepping into a Christian gathering for the first time, you are welcome to visit. Bring your Bible if you have one, listen carefully, and take time to see whether this is a fellowship where you can grow in the knowledge of God and in fellowship with other believers.

A Clear, Straightforward First Visit

The Kingdom of God Bible Christian Fellowship meets at Temple Beth Emet of Burbank, 600 N Buena Vista St, Burbank, CA 91505. When you arrive, use the parking lot and enter through the brown door. Those simple details can make a first visit feel much more welcoming, especially when you are visiting a congregation for the first time.

If you would like directions before Sunday, our visit page has the practical details. You may also call Pastor Vinny Cruz at (818) 319-7228 for information about worship, Bible study, prayer, or arrival. A real conversation can be helpful when you are trying to decide where to visit.

We also gather for Zoom Prayer and Bible Studies on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. These weekday meetings give the fellowship another opportunity to pray together, open God’s Word, and encourage one another in faith.

A Fellowship That Takes Discipleship Seriously

A church is not only a place to attend. It is a people who learn to follow Jesus together. We want disciples to become teachers, ministers, witnesses, and ambassadors for Christ. That means being equipped by Scripture, strengthened through prayer, and ready to share the Gospel with clarity and love.

Our ministries support that calling through Bible study, evangelism, prayer, fellowship, and practical encouragement. We believe growth is not measured only by knowledge. God’s Word should lead us toward repentance, faithfulness, love for one another, and a courageous witness to the world around us.

If you are looking for a non-denominational church in Burbank where biblical teaching and Christian discipleship are taken seriously, we invite you to visit. We are not offering a church built around preferences or personalities. We are inviting people to come under the lordship of Jesus Christ and learn to live by His Word.

How to Discern a Church Home

Choosing a church home deserves prayer and careful thought. The most important question is not whether a church offers every activity you have seen elsewhere. It is whether the fellowship honors Jesus Christ, teaches the Scriptures faithfully, calls people to a holy life, and provides a place for believers to encourage one another.

We encourage visitors to listen closely to the teaching, consider the Scriptures for themselves, and ask honest questions. A healthy church does not ask people to set aside discernment. It points them back to God’s Word and invites them to test what they hear by it.

At The Kingdom of God Bible Christian Fellowship, we want people to know what we teach and why. Our commitment to expository teaching helps keep the Bible in view, while prayer and fellowship help us depend on God and care for one another. The aim is not to win people to a label. The aim is to make faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

Questions Before You Visit

You may be wondering what to wear, whether you will know anyone, or whether you can come even if you are still learning about the Bible. A first visit does not require a special introduction. Come as you are, take part in worship, and feel free to ask practical questions before or after the gathering.

You may also want to know what makes this fellowship distinct. Our Who We Are and Statement of Faith pages are available if you would like to read first. They explain our commitment to the Gospel, expository teaching, discipleship, evangelism, and a life of obedience to Jesus Christ.

The next step can be as simple as joining us this Sunday at 9:00 AM. Use the parking lot entrance and brown door, bring your Bible, and come worship with us. We would be glad to welcome you to The Kingdom of God Bible Christian Fellowship in Burbank.
